遠景なので、その場ではあまり感動しなかったのですが、よく考えてみれば、やはり赤道直下のキリマンジャロに万年雪があるというのはすごいことですね。
At the moment when I saw Kilimanjaro, I was not gravely impressed, to tell the truth. Yet it is a wonder that there is snow even in mid-summer on a mountain near the equator line.
